How to use a face mask
Apply a thin, even layer to clean skin. Leave the mask on as long as the pack says and remove what is left with lukewarm water. An overnight mask is not rinsed off: it is the last step in the evening and can replace the night cream.
How often depends on the kind. Hydrating and soothing masks suit more frequent use; exfoliating ones, with AHAs or enzymes, less often and never on the same evening as an exfoliant. More on acids in AHA acids.

It depends on the kind and is on every pack. Hydrating and soothing masks suit more frequent use, exfoliating ones less often, so the skin is not overworked.
Do I rinse off an overnight mask?
No. It goes on last in the evening, can replace the night cream and stays on until morning. In the morning, just cleanse.
Can I put a serum under the mask?
Yes, under a hydrating or overnight mask: the serum is lighter and absorbs first. Do not put active serums under an exfoliating mask.
